On Saturday August 20th, I had the pleasure to return back to the Sub Alpine in Turtle Creek to check out Living Dead Girl. It was an octane filled evening with much anticipation for what was to come.
Opening up the evening was Skarlett Sky, and they nearly set the stage on fire with their intense performance. I was told to keep an eye on them, and it was for good reason, because they definitely set the tone for what was to come. With their riffs and vocal performance, they made an impression, and look forward to catching them live again in the future.

Pittsburgh punk legends The Cheats followed up next, and their performance consisted of the crude punk action that we know and love them for. Their infectious energy spread throughout the venue which got everybody paying attention.

Afterwards, Wildstreet took the stage, and they gave me more of hair metal band vibe with their set. The lead singer was very emotive with his vocal performance, and the guitar work had everyone rocking along to their music.

Then the time finally came for Living Dead Girl. Let me tell you, when the lead singer Molly took the stage, she exuded beauty and grace, and her vocal performance was something you would not expect. She has serious pipes, and transitioned between soft vocals to almost death metal like growls. The energy was electric, and I enjoyed what the band had to offer.
