Shattered, a band that has played many Rock for Life Concert Series shows over the years, asked us to take photos of them at this year’s Gigaroo!

What this did for me was put me in my favorite venue to shoot with one of my all time favorite bands that I’ve seen on that stage. I took over 347 shots of them on this day! This is just a small portion of what I ended up editing. When a band provides great music and amazing energy on stage, I forget where I am and end up taking a ton of photos. This is what happened during their set. I got so amped up based on what Shattered was doing on stage that I just kept clicking that shutter button! Knowing that Chris, their front man, is also a wrestler gives the stage presence a different aspect. They do a phenomenal job of adding to the emotion in their music through the story that their bodies tell while they throw down!

If you haven’t heard the band yet, please take a listen to the Spotify tracks that I’ve included below. If you aren’t familiar with the Rock for Life Concert Series, Implore you to take a look into what it does. It is the mission of Rock for Life to provide financial support to needy individuals residing in Western PA who are suffering from life threatening diseases. Rock for Life sponsors music festivals and other music-related and general fundraising events to raise the monies necessary to support its purpose.

Gigaroo provided us with 16 bands and 2 days of awesomeness. You missed Gigaroo, but you can join us in that very same field 2 more times this year at Rock for Life 23 in August and Rocktoberfest 2022 in October!

For over two decades, hundreds upon thousands of fans, including myself, have been managing our summer schedules around this concert series.  We have learned of new-to-us talented bands, watched some of our favorite bands, made new friends, and become a part of one of the greatest families in our music scene. Please consider this to be your invitation to join our family.
