On July 16th, I attended Leechburg’s Pink Day‘s annual event, Notes for Hope Music and Food Truck Festival at the Hyde Park Heritage Pavilion.
The event featured: Jerry B and the Bone Tones, Miss Freddye Stover and her Blues Band, Lenny Collini 4PaK, Marshall & the Deputies, Steel Mill Rising, Bill Toms & Hard Rain, and King Lou Hock and his Flying Circus.
The food trucks in attendance were: Anything Rolls Egg Rolls, Cup and Cone, Del Vecchio’s Sausage and Fries, Little C’s Concessions, Lisa’s Shaved Ice, Fireman’s Lunchbox, QT’s Butt Hutt.

This event is a precursor to the organization’s main event, Leechburg’s Pink Day which traditionally occurs on the 3rd Saturday of each September on Market Street in Leechburg. The day long even attract thousands of attendees annually, has up to 100 product vendors and local organizations, multiple food vendors, live entertainment, children’s activities, raffles, and more.
The events are financially supported by local businesses and organizations.
