On this week’s Find Your Muse(ic) we have repeat offenders The Fading Light. The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania based Indie rockers just dropped a brand new video for their single “Ten Years” and we couldn’t be more excited to share it!
“Ten Years” rocks with the best parts of 90’s radio such as The Goo Goo Dolls, Tonic, Sister Hazel, and even Third Eye Blind for a good measure. Emotional acoustic arrangements and melodic interplay lay the foundation as the band capitlize on building layers of Indie espionage that cater to the timid croon of lead singer/guitarist Josh Doran. Here is what Josh had to say about this powerful rocker:
“Ten Years is a song about regret. It’s a reflection on the ways that decisions you made long ago can reverberate to the present, even when you’ve changed for the better. We will be releasing an official album-version of this song with an accompanying video this year and will be donating proceeds from it to the PTSD Foundation of America. ”
With its catchy hook and heartfelt lyrics, the band really know how to draw the listener in and keep them coming back for more with their lightly distorted sheen and melodic, yet somber timbre.
