I love music that likes to be fun, and the latest single from The Parishables called “Droid” is exactly that. It really put a smile on my face.
This rocker gets started from the moment it gets started with amazing guitar work. The lyric delivery is pretty good as well as the single tells of a dystopian future where machine has dominion over man. It also could be social commentary how everyone is just mindless droids just following whatever we are told. Either way, it’s a pretty sweet tune. The video is entirely stop motion with Legos and an robot action figure. I really enjoyed that presentation, it really hit a mark with the kid inside of me, and made the single even more special. This is absolutely worth the time to check out because it will be hard not having a cheesy grin on your face as you listen.
