After recently signing to Distortion Productions, dark electro band Amulet wanted to give a taste of what they are all about, and released a video for “Last Ditch”, remixed by Stabbing Westward.
Backed by a dreamy booming beat, the ethereal vocals guide us through the song until it gets to the chorus. That is when the guitars kick in, and just adds a nice icing on the cake. The lead singer Stephanie Stryker has some serious pipes, and the lyrics speak of surrendering it all for a chance at true love. The video sees her looking like a goddess of the underworld as she dances and encapsulates the themes of the song.
“Last Ditch” will be from the upcoming EP Perfect Fusion which will be released by Distortion Productions on October 28th. You can also stream the single and add it to your playlist here.
