I remember in the late 90’s that I was going through a Nu-Metal phase for awhile, and as I was going down the rabbit hole, in the 2000’s I discovered a band by the name of Adema. I picked up their self titled album, and I remember liking it to the point it remains a part of my music collection to this day. This was before I discovered the band was formed by the half brother of Jonathan Davis who you may know from a band called Korn. In my mind, this made Adema a bit more cooler. Sadly, I did not keep up with the band, and they eventually fell off my radar.
Now, the band is on a brink of a revival, and to show that they mean business, they released a new single called “Ready to Die”. This is the first single for their upcoming album called 360 Degrees of Separation. Is it safe they say with this new release that they are back on my radar again? That answer is a resounding yes.
The band is back with a new frontman, and as a result, a new sound. The song serves to show the singing range of their new lead vocalist, and he demonstrates that he can go from singing to roaring vocals. It’s a pretty heavy song, and if this a sign of what’s to come, I look forward to more from them. A video starts out with the band doing a soundcheck before it kicks off into the band rocking our faces off. I am very impressed with this, and I feel that excitement from when I first discovered the band all over again. Fellow metalheads will highly approve of this as well.
