Dethlehem describes themselves as a D&D campaign that came to life and formed a metal band. They are releasing a new album called Maelstrom of the Emerald Dragon on July 17th. It will be a concept album, which will satisfy those who are a fan of those formats like I am. The story of the album is about the warriors of Dethlehem who are summoned by an ancient wizard who tasks them with defeating the evil Dark Elf…VELDRAS! She seeks to control over a cosmic force…the Emerald Dragon, and use its power to lay waste to the realm! Will the warriors be able to stop her?

The album is full of pulse-pounding metal tracks, with interludes throughout to guide you through the story. As a whole, this album delivers as you will find yourself headbanging your way through their journey. It will appeal to metalheads and lovers of role playing games alike with melodic grinding guitars, thunderous drumming, as well as fierce vocalizations that will all combine to see their enemies driven before them. With 14 tracks of sheer awesomeness, this album will definitely whet your appetite.

Some of the standout tracks are “A Tale That Time Forgot”, “Mind Flayer”, “Beware The Mimic”, “Gelatinous Cube Labyrinth” and “The Emerald Dragon”

Definitely recommend picking this up once it releases, and Dethlehem with be hosting a Live event on Facebook to commemorate the release of the album. You never know what to expect, so you definitely don’t want to miss this.
