We are getting into the thick of it now with Cinco De Mayo around the corner, and you can expect things are really going to pop up this weekend. Grab your straw hat and let’s see what all festivities are in store.

Starting off on Thursday May 4th, Dread Metal Productions presents Left For Dead Tour at Philly On The Rocks in Erie, PA>. The bands performing will be The Almas, Storms Within, Odd Atrocity, and Reign of Z. Doors open at 7pm and admission is $8. Come rock out!!

Also on Thursday May 4th, The Veldt, Dead Leaf Echo, and 1000z of Beez will be playing at The Government Center in Pittsburgh, PA. It starts at 7:30PM and tickets are $16 in advance and $20 at the door. A bit of a shoegaze fest will be in store!

In addition on Thursday May 4th, One Eyed Daddys are returning to play live for the first time in 20 years at Bridge Music Bar in Pittsburgh, PA. There was only one band that was suitable enough to bring on board, so God Hates Unicorns will be bringing the action. It starts at 8:30PM and no admission listed but bring some cash anyway.

On Friday May 5th, The Sinking Ships Tour: PART II will be happening at The Sub Alpine in Turtle Creek, PA. It will feature Sleep Signals headlining with support from IRE, Befell, Tuesday’s Too Late, and Gods End. Doors open at 6pm and tickets are $12 in advance or $17 at the door. You can purchase advance tickets here. This is going to be a banger.

Also on Friday May 5th, Women that Rock will be taking place at Brandy’s Basement in Irwin, PA. There will be performances from Anxiety at Best, The Fall of Me, Shadowburn, and God Hates Unicorns. Doors open at 6pm and admission is $10. Come support some of the best female-lead bands in the area!!

In addition on Friday May 5th, prepare for a Cinco De Mayo shred fest at Green Beacon Gallery in Greensburg, PA. Get blasted by the sounds of The Sawtooth Grin, meth., Sarlacc, and Ancient Torture. Doors open at 7pm and tickets are $18 in advance or $20 at the door. You can purchase tickets here.

Then on Friday May 5th, It’s 10 years..so far as Neostem celebrates their 10th anniversary at Squirrel Hill Sports Bar in Pittsburgh, PA. Joining the celebration is The Cheats and Royal Honey. Doors open at 7pm and admission is $10. Come out and join the party.

On Saturday May 6th, there will be four musical powerhouses at Thompson Run Atheltic Association at West Mifflin, PA. Providing the amazing sounds of End of Blue, Bonebust & the Bloodstained Bastards, Makeshift Urn, and Blame the Dead Guy. There will be dark themed art pieces on display that you can buy. It starts at 5pm and there is no cover!!

Also on Saturday May 6th, Bloody Run will be celebrating the release of their debut album The Revenge at Green Beacon Gallery in Greensburg, PA. Joining the fun will be Scare Tape, Goatchamber, and Kether Rot. Doors open at 6pm and tickets are $15. Or you can bring a medieval flail and get in for $10. Something tells me they are not kidding about that part either. This is going to be one insane show.

In addition on Saturday May 6th, doom comes to Squirrel Hill Sports Bar in Pittsburgh, PA. Enjoy the slow sludgy sounds of CROP, Shi, Riparian, and Mother Elizabeth Thorne. It starts at 8pm, and admission is $10.

Then on Saturday May 6th, Title Town returns back to Spirit in Lawrenceville, PA for their monthly Soul and Dance Party. Come and feel those spring time vibes with the best rare and classic soul, funk, disco, and much more! It starts at 9pm and admission is $10.

As well on Saturday May 6th, Blacklist Entertainment brings you Requiem at Cattivo in Lawrenceville, PA. We will see the long waited return of guest DJ KellyA!! As usual you can expect the latest goth hits and much more as you shimmer down in the dark. It starts at 9pm and admission is $6.
