The final weekend of April will be a busy one, and it definitely ending on a bang!! Here is what you can expect to get yourself into.
Starting off, on Friday April 28th, 717 Entertainment presents Vision Video, Death Valley Dreams, Kristeen Young, and The Mary Lous at Lovecraft Brewing Company in Mechanicsburg, PA. Doors open at 6pm, and tickets are $12 in advance or $15 at the door. You can purchase tickets here. This will be a show you won’t want to miss if you are in the area.
Also on Friday April 28th, Some Die Nameless brings you Halfway To Half Covered Halloween Part 4 at 222 Ormsby in Pittsburgh, PA. The theme of the night is all the bands will be covering a Weezer album for half of their set. We have Johnny and the Razorblades, Ryan and Luke from 500 Miles to Memphis, Stereo Scandal, Subarctic Beach Party, and The Sneaky Heat Missiles. Doors open at 6pm and admission is $10.
In addition on Friday April 28th, it will be an evening of loud metal at Green Beacon Gallery in Greensburg, PA. The bands playing will be Synesthesia, Egomyth, For Those in Question, and Right on Warriors. Doors open at 6:30PM and admission is $12 or pay what you can. Come out and prepare to rock!
Then on Friday April 28th, it will a Friday Night Rock n Roll at Smiling Moose in Pittsburgh, PA. There will be performances from The Cheats, Cheap Thrills, and Royal Honey. It starts at 8:30PM, no admission listed but bring some cash with you just in case if you plan to see some great punk/rock and roll bands!
As well on Friday April 28th, Distortion Productions is hosting a special showcase at Black Forge Coffee in Mckees Rocks, PA. It will feature Sapphira Vee with Red Lokust headlining for an hour long set. Both bands will have new songs to perform for us, and there will be a special DJ set from DJ Mutilato.

And on Friday April 28th, STRANGEWAYS presents =3AM Eternal= 90s Eurotrash Dance Party at Mixtape in Pittsburgh, PA. It will be another all-inclusive dance night dedicated to the underground pop music of the 1990s. Bring friends or prepare to make some new ones as you dance the night away. It starts at 9pm and tickets are $10. You can purchase tickets here.
Friday April 28th, Second Skin returns back to Brillobox in Pittsburgh, PA. A dance night dedicated to underground and obscure post punk, goth, new wave, and more! It starts at 9pm and admission is $7.
On Saturday April 29th, The Dark Parlour brings you Fang Around The Cauldron-Witches Night at Royal Square District in York, PA. Featuring over 100 vendors, DJs, live performances, and bands such as Spellbook, Verminoth, Vampires4hire, Horrorwood Ending, War on Christmas, Seglock, Before the End, Mono Theory, Ruddy Turnstone and special acoustical performance by Razor De Rockefeller. Also on Saturday April 29th, Steel City Destroyers brings you a punk rock show at Porky’s Bar in Etna, PA. The bands playing will be SUBMACHINE, Crooked Cobras, One Sided, and Poet LS. Doors open at 6:30PM and admission is $10.
In addition on Saturday April 29th, it will be another Punk Night at The Forge Winery in Homestead, PA. You can get wild to the sounds of Murder For Girls, Lylyth, No Sleep For Zombies, Ash Belial, and Tanay. Doors open at 7pm and admission is $12.
Then on Saturday April 29th, Eerie Siren Productions local metal bands to Rathskeller Cafe in Erie, PA. Throw your horns up to Storms Within, Mala Sangre, and Grim Grin. It starts at 7pm and no cover!
As well on Saturday April 29th, Dread Metal Productions will be flexing their muscles with a rock show at Philly on the Rocks in Erie, PA. They will be bringing Ralphie’s Gone Blind, Rurally Bankrupt, and Fuzzii. Doors open at 7pm and admission is $5. Either way you go, this is a good night for music in Erie.
And on Saturday April 29th, Wampum Dogs are performing an anti-fascist psychedelic rock opera at Green Beacon Gallery in Greensburg, PA. Joining the trip will be The Ghostwrite and LibCor. Doors open at 7pm and admission is $15 or pay what you can. This will be quite an experience so get comfy and enjoy.
On Saturday April 29th, Bald Hippie Productions brings you an exclusive event at Squirrel Hill Sports Bar in Pittsburgh, PA. Special performances from Medusa’s Disco and Legendary Hucklebucks. There will be a live painting as well. It starts at 8pm and admission is $15.
Saturday April 29th, STRANGEWAYS presents =Night Fever= Vintage Disco Party at Belvedere’s Ultra Dive in Lawrenceville, PA. Get ready to groove to a whole other galaxy full of gold encrusted disco and funk hits. Shimmer on down. It starts at 9pm and admission is $7 before 10pm, $10 after.
Saturday April 29th, Blacklist Entertainment brings you the premium event for the strange and unusual known as Obscure. This is where it is encouraged for all to let their freak flag fly within reason. The Guest DJs will once again be DJ Krass Advert and Needlemother. There will be live performances from Lydia Munster, Lilith Deville, Jaime Lee Coitus, and Amoxie Vilian. It starts at 9pm and admission is $7.
On Sunday April 30th, there will be a crazy metal show at Sanctuary at The Center on Franklin in Vandergrift, PA. The bands looking to rage with you will be Gravebirth, Sustenance, Hurtpiece, Feast on the Fallen, and Impervious Mutation. It starts at 6pm, and admission is $10.
Also on Sunday April 30th, Charming Disaster, Phat Man Dee, and Hemlock for Socrates will be performing at The Funhouse at Mr. Smalls in Millvale, PA. Doors open at 7pm and tickets are $15 in advance, $18 at the door. You can purchase tickets here. This should be a fun show for a Sunday evening.
