We are in Mid April, and still experiencing an influx of different events popping up! Here is all what to look forward to coming up!
Starting off on Thursday April 13th, lets Rage to Stop Cop City for a benefit show geared towards furnishing bail and legal fee assistance to those standing in resistance to the construction of Cop City happening at Green Beacon Gallery in Greensburg. The bands playing for this cause will be Feast on the Fallen, The Wasted, The Shitdicks, and Bomb Threat. Doors open at 6:30PM and admission is $10 donation.
On Friday April 14th, it will be a good night for rock and roll at Green Beacon Gallery in Greensburg, PA. Rock out to the sounds of Dream The Heavy, 3 Leagues to Rome, No Sleep For Zombies, and Sunny Daze and the Weathermen and Zenith. Doors open at 6pm, and admission is $12 or pay what you can.
Saturday April 15th and Sunday April 16th, World Oddities Expo will be popping up at Pennsylvania Convention Center- Philadelphia in Philadelphia, PA. They are a touring oddities festival- a peculiar paradise where weird thrives! We pride ourselves on being an all inclusive artisan and small business fueled mega-convention. It will feature artists, vendors, performers, educators, and guest speakers to create a macabre and magical experience for all. On Saturday April 15th, Belvebuth is hosting an album release party at Green Beacon Gallery. They will be celebrating the release of their new album Essence of Evil with some friends such as Detest The Throne, Feast on the Fallen, Shitdicks, and Razorblade. Doors open at 6pm, and admission is $10.
Also on Saturday April 15th, Steel City Meltdown will be taking over Porky’s Bar and Grill in Etna, PA. Looking to bring the heat are Ironside, Human Animal, Hostile Front, and Rule of Nines. Doors open at 6pm and admission is $10. Be ready as they are bringing a lot of heat.
In addition on Saturday April 15th, A Common Crown, Blood Union, and Unbroken Soul will be playing at Voodoo Brewing Company in Homestead, PA. It starts at 7pm, and no admission is known so bring some cash just in case. This is a good spot to chill for some rocking tunes.
Then on Saturday April 15th, STRANGEWAYS is hosting Technique alt 80s Dance Party at Bottlerocket Social Hall in Pittsburgh, PA. Prepare to dance your heart out to the greatest hits you know and love from the 80s. It starts at 10pm and tickets are $7 in advance of $10 at the door. On Sunday April 16th, there will be a noise show at Green Beacon Gallery in Greensburg, PA. The artists you can expect are Closing, A Week of Kindness, Slacking, Silver Moult, Mallard Theory, and Aggregate & Dune Kankel. It starts at 7pm and admission is $8 or pay what you can. If you are looking for a chaotic Sunday night to start the week right, then this is the place for you.
Then on Sunday April 16th, Omega Tribe, Death Instinct, Weaponized Existence, and D.O.V.E. will be playing at Cattivo in Lawrenceville, PA. It starts at 8pm and tickets are 18 in advance, $20 at the door. You can purchase tickets here. Come out and support if punk is more your speed.
