Spring has finally arrived, and it brings many events with it. This should set the standard what to expect for the rest of the spring. As the days get nicer, expect things to start popping up everywhere. Here is how we are getting started.

Starting us off on Thursday March 23rd, there will be a brutal show at Black Forge Coffee in McKees Rocks, PA. The bands looking to slam are Inferious, Alukah, Windchimes, Greywalker, and Bakasura. Doors open at 6pm and tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door. You can purchase tickets for hellacious fun here.

Also on Thursday March 23rd, Dread Metal Productions presents an early Thursday night folk punk delight at Philly On The Rocks in Erie, PA. The performers will be Lizzagna, Optimistic Apocalypse, and Skeleton Drive. Doors open at 7pm and admission is $5. Come out and suppport!

On Friday March 24th, SUBMACHINE, Plasmid, Latecomer, and Positive Thinking will be coming to The Government Center in Pittsburgh, PA. It starts at 8pm, and admission is $10. Come see some local band and enjoy the time.

Also on Friday March 24th, Blackwater Drowning will be hitting up Black Forge Coffee in McKees Rocks, PA for the Sonder/Satori US East Coast Tour Part 1. They will be joined by Gravebirth. It starts at 6:30pm and tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at the door. You can purchase advance tickets here. Prepare for an evening of metal and devastation.

In addition on Friday March 24th, Neighbor Dan and Nullum will be hosting an album release party at Green Beacon Gallery in Greensburg, PA. Joining in the fun will be Constant Hell, Makeshift Urn, and Galactic Jihad. Doors open at 7pm and admission is $12. This is going to be a barn burner you won’t want to miss.

Then on Friday March 24th, it will be one heck of a lineup at The Sub Alpine in Turtle Creek, PA. Featuring God Hates Unicorns, Johnny and the Razorblades, Sneaky Heat Missiles, and Dream The Heavy. It starts at 7:30PM and admission is $10. Who knows what will happen so you better not miss out!

Following that on Friday March 14th, STRANGEWAYS presents Killing Moon 80s Darkwave Dance Party at Mixtape in Pittsburgh, PA. Featuring the goth and darkwave hits you know and love, it will be enough to make your black heart flutter in delight. It starts at 9pm, and advance tickets are here for $10. You may be able to spook one up at the door as well.

On Saturday March 25th, Night Waves Festival will be taking place at Black Forge Coffee in Mckees Rocks, PA. Featuring a mix of industrial, doom, and rock, the night will feature The Long Hunt, Across the Dawn, and Sachem Orenda. It starts at 7pm and tickets are $12 in advance or $15 at the door. You can purchase tickets here.

Also on Saturday March 25th, there will be Fundraiser/Memorial for Scott Miles at the Funhouse at Mr. Smalls in Millvale, PA. The bands playing to help raise money will be Sundog Rising, Parable, Untamed, and Bad Mothertrucker. Doors open at 6pm, admission is $20. There will also be a 50/50 raffle and a Chinese auction. Come out and help donate to a good cause!

In addition on Saturday March 25th, it will be a night of spooky punk at The Bridge Music Bar in Pittsburgh, PA. Beware you are in for a scare with Subarctic Beach Party, Anxiety at Best, and 13occult. It starts at 8pm and admission is not listed so bring some moola on you.

Then on Saturday March 25th, Too Soon Jokes, The Bleepy Things, One Hundred Year Ocean, and Anti-Corn League will be coming to Cattivo in Lawrenceville, PA. It starts at 8pm and admission is admission is $10. A high energy show that you will want to be in attendance for.

Following that on Saturday March 25th, STRANGEWAYS will be hosting Night Fever Vintage Disco Party at Belvedere’s Ultra Dive in Lawrenceville, PA. Get your boogie shoes on and get ready for gold crusted hits to get your groove on to. It gets started at 9pm, and admission is $7 before 10pm, $10 after.

On Sunday March 26th, Kamenar is coming to the Sub Alpine in Turtle Creek, PA during their Live Loud and Raw 2023 US Tour! They will have support from Chip & The Charge Ups. Doors open at 6pm and admission is not listed so bring cash just in case. If you want to rock on a Sunday, this is the place to be.
