Starting us off, from Friday December 9th until Sunday December 11th, Steel City Con will be returning to the Monroeville Convention Center in Monroeville, PA. On Friday December 9th, lets Mosh for Tots at Basement Transmissions in Erie, PA! Featuring 11 bands, 2 stages, this is going to be one heck of a night all for a good cause. Performing on the main stage will be Grim Grin, Dissentience, Less Than Expected, Gelatin Skeleton, Requiem for Oblivion, and Fog Giant! On the back stage will be Scarred Like Us, Villian 50/50, The Bong Mongrels, ZaKrahe, and Mala Sangre. Doors open at 5:30pm, and admission is either bringing a one new toy in package or $5.
Also on Friday December 9th, it will be metal night at Squirrel Hill Sports Bar in Pittsburgh, PA. Prepare for riffs and blastbeats from Divine Tragedy, Strangle The Witness, and Trainwrecked! It starts at 7pm, and admission is $10.
Then on Friday December 9th, Strike True presents Ska Night at Green Beacon Gallery in Greensburg, PA. It will feature FUBAR, Sneaky Heat Missiles, The Book Club, and a DJ set from Chewy Smalls. It starts at 7pm, and tickets are $10, so come get your skanking on! You can purchase tickets here.
In addition, on Friday December 9th, get holly and jolly as STRANGEWAYS is looking to spend the holidays with you with Technique alt 80’s dance party at Belvedere’s Ultra Dive in Lawrenceville, PA. Bring friends or make friends as you dance the night away! It starts at 9pm, and admission is $7!
On Saturday December 10th, Rock For Life Concert Series presents Rock for Life X-Mas 2022 at The New Acme Club in Cheswick, PA. The bands performing will be Doug Carnahan, Kill the Drama, Black Ridge, Silk 9, Flashback, and Big House Pete. It starts at 5pm, and admission is $10, so if you want to celebrate the holidays in style, this is the place to be!
Also on Saturday December 10th, it will be An Evening of Chaos at Sub Alpine in Turtle Creek, PA. Bringing the heat will be Sathanas, Hericide, Corpse God, and Raven Mocker. Doors open at 6pm and admission is $12. Come down to thrown down and get your butt in the pit!
Then on Saturday December 10th, Drusky Entertainment presents the long waited return of September Mourning playing at Black Forge Coffee House in Mckees Rocks, PA. There will be support from Ghostlight Labyrinth and Dematus. Doors open at 6:30pm, and tickets are $15. You can purchase tickets here for a chance to have your soul collected!
In addition, on Saturday December 10th, Evolution returns for the final dance night of 2022 to Cattivo in Lawrenceville, PA. Joining in as a guest DJ will be DJ Satyrion from Blacklist Entertainment. Featuring the best in synthpop, new wave, goth, industrial, and more, the night starts at 9:30PM, and admission is $5.
On Sunday December 11th, Strike True presents another night of metal mayhem at Green Beacon Galley at Greensburg, PA. There will be performances from Bloody Run, Place Blame, 9 Stitch Method, Dissentience, and The Parishables. Doors open at 5:30PM, and admission is $15 or pay what you can. If you want to start the week on a high note, this will be your best chance to do it!
