This weekend will start the beginning of December, which means winter is coming as well as the holiday madness that precedes it. There will be a good bit to look forward to if you want to chase the holiday blues away.

Starting us off, on Friday December 2nd, a benefit show Metal for Morris will be taking place at The Keystone Stage in Olyphant, PA. The bands playing will be Thanatos, ROYAL HELL, Prime 8, Brotality, and Suicide Puppets. All proceeds will go to help the Morris family during their difficult time, so come support a good cause. Doors open at 6pm, and tickets are $10 in advance or $12 at the door. You can purchase tickets here.

Also on Friday December 2nd, Dread Metal Productions will be hosting one heck of a night at Philly on the Rocks in Erie, PA. The evening will feature Dredneks, Matt Texter, Matthew Morton and the hellbilly sound of Joe Buck Yourself as the headliner. Doors open at 8pm, and tickets are $10. You can purchase those here. If you like a mix of punk, country, and rock, then you won’t want to miss this one!

On Saturday December 3rd, Prevailer Entertainment will be throwing a very stacked holiday bash at Sykesville Town Hall in Sykesville, PA. The line up consist of The Wasted, Trainwrecked, Casey Becker, Death Descending, The Karens, and Another Dark Fall. Door open at 4pm, and admission is $15, so come out and get ready to throw the heck down!

Also on Saturday December 3rd, Steel City Destroyers presents Seasons Beatings at Porky’s Bar and Grill in Etna, PA. The bands performing this one will be Bottle Rat, The Scratch N’ Sniffs, 65 Rats, and Navin and The Jerks. It starts at 7pm, and admission is $10. If you like old school punk rock, and maybe some sexy action to go along with it, stop on by!

Then on Saturday December 3rd, Dread Metal Productions will be hosting another show at Philly on the Rocks in Erie, PA. This time around, it will have performances from Anthropic, Massive Denial, and Ralphie’s Gone Blind. A mix of grindcore, punk, and hardcore. Doors open at 8pm, and admission is $5.

In addition, on Saturday December 3rd, Illusions of Grandeur, The Nerves, and The BSXpress will be invading McGarvey’s Bar in Altoona, PA. It starts at 9pm, and admission is only $5, which is a steal with the amazing lineup in store!

As well, on Saturday December 3rd, Title Town will be coming to Spirit in Lawrenceville, PA for their monthly Soul and Funk Dance Party! It will be the last party of the year, so come warm up to the hottest tunes they have to offer you, bring a friend or two, and get your funk on! It starts going down at 9pm, and admission is $10.

Or if you like something more darker, on Saturday December 3rd, Blacklist Entertainment is hosting the last Requiem of 2022 at Cattivo in Lawrenceville, PA. It will feature Guest DJs Erica Scary as well as the return of DJ Chalfont. It will be a night to remember with lots of goth and industrial hits and maybe some rarities never heard before. It begins at 9:30PM, and admission is $6.

On Sunday December 4th, Pittsburgh Freaky Fair and Time and Space Marketplace presents Krampus Holiday Market 2022 at Monroeville Mall in Monroeville, PA. It will feature numerous vendors with unique items to purchase, and you can also get the opportunity to get your picture with Krampus! It starts at 11am, and early admission is $12 with general admission at $8. For those with general admission, if you want a picture with Krampus, it will cost $5 extra. I would say a perfect introduction to the last remaining moments of the 2022 concert season and with some opportunity to take part in the holiday festivities as well. The weather looks decent for the weekend as well, so definitely take the change to enjoy the offerings.
