Here we are in November, and there is a good bit to help kick off the month. There is no sign of things slowing down after a busy October, and this next slate of events should prove that.
Starting us off, on Thursday November 3rd, The American Invasion Tour will be taking the Sub Alpine in Turtle Creek, PA by force. The bands commandeering the night will be Squidhammer, Trainwrecked, Strangle The Witness, and the return of WoR headlining. Doors open at 6:30Pm, and admission is $12. Come down for what will be a very intense evening!
Also on Thursday November 3rd, it will be ZaKrahe‘s album release tour at Squirrel Hill Sports Bar in Pittsburgh, PA. They will be celebrating the release of their album If A Tree Falls, and will have Nephele and Shadow of Corvus helping with the festivities. Doors open at 6:30PM, and tickets are $10 in advance or $12 at the door. You can purchase tickets here.
On Friday November 4th, there will be a punk show taking place at Green Beacon Gallery in Greensburgh, PA. God’s Green Apples, Old Neon, and Middle Finger will all be ready to throw down with you. Doors open at 7pm, and admission is $10 or pay what you can.
Also on Friday November 4th, Dread Metal Productions will be hosting a stacked show at Philly on the Rocks in Erie, PA. The bands performing will be Dread Engine, Eden on Fire, Pale Hell, and Wasted Space. It starts at 8pm, and tickets are $5 in advance or $8 admission at the door. You can purchase tickets here. It will be good time, so don’t miss out!
Then on Friday November 4th, Fuzznaut will be hosting an album release show at The Government Center in Pittsburgh, PA. They will be joined by Mold Farmer, Altar and the Bull, and The Long Hunt. It starts at 8pm, and tickets are $20. Included with the tickets is a digital download of their new album Apophenia. You can purchase tickets here
In addition, on Friday November 4th, Second Skin returns to Brillobox in Pittsburgh, PA for their dance party full of underground and obscure post punk, goth, new wave, etc hits. It will start at 9pm, and admission is $7. If you are looking for a moment to let looose, then this is the place to be!
On Saturday November 5th, Nexev will be holding a 24 hour Charity Stream Winter Edition. It will consist of 24 hours of playing games and hanging with people to help raise money for the Extra Life charity will helps sick kids in Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. If you wish to donate, you can do so here. It starts at 7am and ends 7am the next morning, and you can either attend in person or online. Also on Saturday November 5th, it will be a night of metal and hardcore at Porky’s Bar and Grille in Etna, PA. You will see performances from Ironside, Negative Thirteen, Death Ticket, and Razorblade. Doors open at 6pm and admission is $10. If you are looking for something more heavy that you can mosh to, you can’t go wrong here!
Then on Saturday November 5th, Anxiety at Best, The Parishables, and The Band Anna will be playing at Brandy’s Basement in Irwin, PA. Doors open at 7pm, and admission is $10. Three awesome bands, great music, and good times are at hand!
In addition on Saturday November 5th, Title Town is holding their monthly soul and funk dance party at Spirit in Lawrenceville, PA. They will have a special guest all the way from Germany Dj Scarce One who will be adding his flavor to the mix of the best funky hits of the evening. It starts at 9pm, and admission is $10.
That’s not all, on Saturday November 5th, Blacklist Entertainment will be returning to Cattivo in Lawrenceville, PA for Requiem. The guest DJs this time around will be debuts of DJ Rachel Ruckus and DJ Panda. It will be an evening full of variety of goth and industrial hits, and as always, requests are welcomed. The evening starts at 9:30pm, and admission is $6.
Sunday November 6th, it will be the Bye Week Breakdown at Squirrel Hill Sports Bar in Pittsburgh, PA. Prepare for some riffs from Pale Hell, Wasted Space, Inertia, and Gator Shakes. Doors open at 6pm, and admission is $10. If you want to throw down before the work week, come down and get wrecked!
Also on November 6th, Distortion Productions will be hosting AL1CE for their stop at Black Forge Coffee House in Pittsburgh, PA with the As Above Tour. They will have support from The Molecule Party and Doors in the Labyrinth. Doors open at 7pm, and tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door. You can purchase tickets here.
