As we get closer to Halloween, more and more spooky flavor is popping up for you check out! Let’s take a look at what is coming to get you this week!
Starting us off, on Thursday October 20th, The Legend Agency and Metal Devastation PR present the Blood and Blasphemy Tour at the Sub Alpine in Turtle Creek, PA. Summoner’s Circle, Casket Robbery, Corpse God, and Impervious Mutation will all be awaiting to annihilate the stage. Doors open at 6pm, and admission is $12. Expect carcasses on the floor after this one is over.
Also on Thursday October 20th, 717 Entertainment will be hosting The Fall Uprising Tour at Lovedraft’s Brewing Company in Mechanicsburg, PA. The bands performing will be Kingdom Collapse, The Funeral Portrait, Versus Me, Take the Name, and Lives Lost. Doors open at 6pm, and tickets are $15. Friday October 21st and Saturday October 22nd, Prevailer Entertainment presents Devil’s Fest at Sykesville Town Hall in Sykesville, PA. Doors open at 2pm for both day, and admission is $15 for both days or $10 for each day. For all the bands playing, check out the event page for more details. This is an absolute rager, so be sure to come out and support the scene!
Also on Friday October 21st, Let There Be Blood!Metal Night will be invading the Squirrel Hill Sports Bar in Pittsburgh, PA! The bands you will see will be Leprosy, Trainwrecked, and Mojo Prophet. This banger of show starts at 8pm, and admission is $10.
Then on Friday October 21st, STRANGEWAYS will be hosting the Strangeways Spooktacular Costume Party at Belvedere’s Ultra Dive in Pittsburgh, PA. There will be a complimentary Haku Highball for the first 150 guests, free Halloween candy and swag while supplies lasts, and there will be prizes for the best costume of the evening. It will be fun evening of being spooky and dancing to some haunted hits! It starts at 9pm, and admission is $7 before 10pm, $10 after.
On Saturday October 22nd, Some Die Nameless is hosting Half Covered Halloween part 7.1 at Ormsby Avenue Cafe in Pittsburgh, PA. This is the Ozzfest edition and will have The Slobberknockers as Ozzy Osborne/Black Sabbath, Trainwrecked as Slipknot, Sneaky Heat Missiles as Rob Zombie, The Filthy Lowdown as Limp Bizkit, Kid Durango as Deftones, God Hates Unicorns as Primus, Anxiety at Best as Papa Roach, and Fall Off The Earth. Doors open at 5:30pm, and tickets are $15. You can purchase those here. You won’t miss this very stacked bill with some of the best bands in Pittsburgh, so be sure to attend!
Also on Saturday October 22nd, The Sub Alpine in Turtle Creek, PA will be holding a Halloween Bash. You can expect performances from Strangle The Witness, Drown The Deep, Veronica, Altared States, and Ghostlight Labyrinth. Doors open at 7pm, and admission is $12. It is going to be a spooktacular time, so be sure to get there!
Then on Saturday October 22nd, after a 3 year hiatus, Sleepwalker Ball is back, coming to the Hard Rock Cafe in Pittsburgh, PA. NeverWake will be the main band of the evening with support from Chip & The Charge Ups and Theriaca. It starts at 7pm, and tickets are $10. You can purchase tickets here for a rocking good time and best of all, it will be for charity to support UPMC Children’s Hospital!
On Sunday October 23rd, it is the return of Sweet Horror taking place at Voodoo Brewing Company in New Kensington, PA. There will be sweet vegan treats to purchase as well as horror/macabre inspired art and curiosities. It starts at 12pm, and no admission known.
Also on Sunday October 23rd, Night Sky Productions proudly presents Danse Macabre 7, a gothic Halloween event. This will be the first return to live events since the pandemic and it will be taking place at Black Forge Coffee in Mckees Rocks, PA. There will be performances by Frenchy and the Punk, Thanatos, and Dave Dramedy, as well as DJ Cadaver Kelly spinning tunes throughout the evening. There is also Sundae Service doing a performance piece, tarot readings, and a costume contest with prizes! It starts at 7pm, and tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door.
