Got another hot and heavy spooky weekend upcoming, so let’s take a look at all the frightful things to come!
Starting us off, on Thursday October 6th Eternal Fire Promotions presents Join Us or Die Tour at Black Forge Coffee in McKees Rocks, PA. It will feature The Breathing Process, IATT, and Blasphemous. Doors open up at 7pm, and tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at the door. You can purchase advance tickets here. If you want to bang your head until your neck breaks, this is the one for you!
On Friday October 7th, WHUT?, Trainwrecked, and Fall Off The Earth are invading the Rock Room in Pittsburgh, PA. There will be punk rock karaoke after the show as well. Doors open at 7pm, and admission is $10. Come out and prepare to get your faces rocked!
Also on Friday October 7th, Dread Metal Productions presents a metal show at Philly On the Rocks in Erie, PA. The bands performing will be Requiem for Oblivion, Matthew Morton,The Merrick Strain, and Veronica. Doors open at 8pm, and tickets are $5. You can purchase those here. Come out for one heck of a time!
In addition on Friday October 7th and Saturday October 8th, First Angel Modeling Agency is hosting a public group shoot at Fostel Studios in Homestead, PA. Advanced or beginners are welcome to this, and there will glow body paint, Halloween themes, or whatever option you choose. It will start at Noon on October 7th and 8am on October 8th. Registration fee is $25, and limited spots are available. So if you feel the need to get your spook on, this is the chance to do so!
Then on Friday October 7th, In Bed By Ten will be holding a dance party at Two Frays Brewery in Pittsburgh, PA. It starts at 6pm, and it is free to attend. Just bring some friends, drink some beers, and dance until your heart is content!
On Friday October 7th, Midnight Sunglasses 80s dance party and Vinyl Pop-up will be happening at Hops Brewing Company in Pittsburgh, PA. It will feature STRANGEWAYS and friends as DJs for the evening as well as over 1000 vinyl records for sale. It starts at 7pm, and it is free admission. There are prizes for best dressed, so be sure to dress to impress while you get your groove on!
Saturday October 8th and Sunday October 9th, Wonders Oddities Expo will be taking place at Monroeville Convention Center in Monroeville, PA. It will have everything from vendors, workshops, performers, and guest speakers. For more details, and how to get tickets, click the link here. This seems right up the alley for anyone looking for spooky flavor.
On Saturday October 8th, Punktober Fest will be happening at 222 Ormsby Ave in Pittsburgh, PA. Featuring the best punk bands in Pittsburgh such as Bastard Bearded Irishmen, The Cheats, Latecomer, Crooked Cobras, Hells Fire Sinners, and Dead Batteries. Doors open at 5pm, and admission is $5.
Also on Saturday October 8th, Dread Metal Productions will be back hosting Re-Entry Fall Tour 2022 at Philly on The Rocks in Erie, PA. The performers on this will be Of Night and Light headlining with support from Maroon River and Psycho Hosebeast. Doors open at 8pm, and tickets are $6 in advance or $10 at the door. In addition Saturday October 8th, House Akros presents Vampyre’s Ball V at Cattivo in Lawrenceville. There will be vendors, entertainers, drink specials and dark music by DJ Callisto to add to the vibe of the evening. Dress your vampire best, the darkness descends at 8pm, and tickets are $25. That’s not at all, because if you want even more of vampire delights, then Evolution: Vampyres will be happening in the upstairs portion of Cattivo in Lawrenceville the same evening. You will get to hear your favorite tunes throughout the evening as you dance amongst the undead. This will start at 8pm as well, and you can attend just this for $5, or if you are attending Vampyres Ball, the admission there will cover you here.
On Sunday October 9th, Outer Dark Media a night of death and doom at the Shred Shed in Pittsburgh, PA. The bands performing are Yatra, Negative Thirteen, and Ancient Torture. Doors open at 7:30pm, and tickets are $15. You can purchase those here. This is your last chance to get brutal before the work week, so don’t miss out!
