Here we are at the Fall Equinox, and even though once again it is a small offering, there are still things to help celebrate the changing of the seasons!
Starting us off, on Friday September 23rd, it will be Chucktoberfest at Porky’s Bar and Grill in Etna, PA. It will have performances from Dave of City Escape Artist, 65 Rats, The Whatleys, and The Filthy Lowdown. They are also running a fancy donation collection for the CHS Food Pantry in South Oakland. It starts at 7pm, and admission is $10. Come out, get rowdy, and help donate to a good cause!
Also on Friday September 23rd, prepare for interdimensional experiences at the Green Beacon Gallery in Greensburg, PA. There will be visitations from Dream The Heavy, Drowning in Violet, Bag of Humans, and Nate Cross Band. It starts at 7pm, and admission is $10.
In addition on Friday September 23rd, Egomyth and Anxiety at Best will be performing at Southside VFW in Pittsburgh, PA. It starts at 8pm, and no admission listed, but bring some extra cash just in case. Come out and support local music!
On Saturday September 24th, Rock For Life is hosting SFM Shop Party 2022 at Speedfreak Motorsports in Butler, PA. There will be performances from Zach Rovito, Para Bellum, The Heathen Parade, A Common Crown, and Skell. It starts at 5pm, and admission is $10. It should be a fun time of rock and motorbikes, so come on out if that hits your fancy!
Also on Saturday September 24th, it will be an evening of rock and roll at Green Beacon Gallery in Greenburg, PA. This time around, Ghost Year, Wolferd, Outside Eliza, The Lagunas, and Wednesday Demonstration. Doors open at 530pm, and admission is $15 or pay what you can.
In addition on Saturday September 24th, Meager Kings, FUBAR, Ill Rendition, and First Hit are hitting up Brandy’s Basement in Irwin, PA. Doors open at 6pm, and admission is $10. Go and support live music!
Then on Saturday September 24th, STRANGEWAYS will be hostly their monthly =Night Fever= Vintage Disco Party at Belvedere’s Ultra Dive in Lawrenceville, PA. Get ready to shuck and dive to gold crusted hits from years past. The disco ball starts spinning at 9pm, and admission is $7 before 10pm, $10 after.
