We reached mid-way through September, and it may be more of a low-key weekend, but there is still some great stuff to check out!
Starting on Wednesday September 14th, Heartsick and Nagazi will be performing at Green Beacon Gallery in Greensburg, PA. They will have support from Trainwrecked, and collaborative performance between Disease of the Mind and Squabble. It starts at 7pm, and admission is $10 or pay what you can. This should be an intense show, so if you need something to get you over the hump, this should do it!
On Thursday, September 15th, Korine, Take Me With You, and Hemlock for Socrates are coming to Spirit in Lawrenceville. Doors open at 8pm, and tickets are $12 in advance or $15 at the door. You can purchase advance tickets here. If you like synth pop and post punk, you cannot go wrong going to this one!
On Friday, September 16th, Music From The 412 will be hosting their late night concert series at Southside VFW in Pittsburgh, PA. The bands on this one will be The Molecule Party, 65 Rats, and Catatoneya. It starts at 10:30PM, and admission not listed, but bring some cash just in case. Come and support some local bands!
On Saturday September 17th, come out to the SUTE(Stay Until The End) Party at The Forge in Pittsburgh, PA. It will be a fun-filled musical party with performances from Anxiety at Best, No Sleep For Zombies, Trevolta, and Murder For Girls. This is your chance to support local bands, eat delicious food, and make new friends. Plus there is prizes involved! It kicks off at 7pm, and tickets are $4. You can purchase those here.
Also on Saturday September 17th, Outer Dark Media will be hosting a show at the Shred Shed in Pittsburgh, PA. You will hear from Immortal Bird, Malevich, Pyrithe, and Heavy Peasant. It starts at 7pm, and tickets are $16 or $20 at the door. You can purchase tickets to this heavy show via the event page.
Then, on Saturday September 17th, Forged in Steel Fest will be taking place at Sub Alpine in Turtle Creek, PA. Prepare to get annihilated from the likes of Leprosy, Victims of Contagion, Horrid Ordeal, Corpse God,Terminal Sanity, and I heard Steve Whooler will be in the house as well providing his masterful shredding. The insanity starts at 7pm, and admission is $10.
In addition, on Saturday September 17th, Blacklist Entertainment returns to Cattivo for their monthly industrial night Synthetic. The guest DJs this time around will be DJ Jenacyde and Needle Mother. This one should get extra stompy, so get ready to rage! It kicks off at 9:30pm, and admission is $6.
On Sunday September 18th, Goblins will be invading the Green Beacon Gallery in Greensburg, PA. Master goblin Rushad Eggleston will be bringing his cello madness, and will have Doomdrome and Matt withtwotees as support. It starts at 7pm, and admission is $10. Unless you are a goblin, goblins get in free.
