Here we are at the last weekend of July, and to prepare for the most busiest August to come, this weekend is going to be jam packed. Buckle up, it is going to be a very bumpy ride.
Starting off, on Wednesday July 27th, it will be the Hail to the Squid Tour stopping at the Sub Alpine in Turtle Creek, PA. It will be hosted by Squidhammer with Influence, and well as other special guests to be determined. Doors open at 6:30PM, and admission is $10.
Also on Wednesday July 27th, Black Forge Coffee in McKees Rocks, PA presents Yotuma, Shadow of Corvus, The Lagunas, and Doublespeak. It starts at 7pm, and admission is $10. Come out to rock with everyone.
On Friday July 29th, Strike True presents Warehouse of Strangers at Green Beacon Gallery in Greensburg, PA. The bands participating are Dirty Pat Walsh, Doomdrome, Garage League, Love Ethic, Strangle The Witness, and more! Doors open at 3pm, and admission is $10. Expect the unexpected on this show!
Also on Friday July 29th, it will be metal night at Casey’s Bar in Pittsburgh, PA. It will feature Pale Hell, Assault on 5th, and Rituals of Insanity. It is going to get loud and in your face. Doors open at 7pm, and admission is $5.
In addition, on Friday July 29th, prepare for adventure at Cattivo in Lawrenceville. Your quest is to enjoy a night of nerd related metal, and the quest bringers this night will be Dethlehem. The supporting characters will be Lame Genie, Super MadNES, and Knight of the Round. You will begin your journey as the gates open at 7pm, and the admission fee is $13 in advance or $15 day of. This will be a night to remember for those who enjoy video games and metal. You can purchase your tickets here.
As well, on Friday July 29th, Some Die Nameless presents Punk Rock Night at Squirrel Hill Sports Bar in Pittsburgh, PA. The bands playing will be SUBMACHINE, The Sablowskis, The Skratchtrax, and Johnny and the Razorblades. The party gets started at 7pm, and admission is $10.
Then, on Friday July 29th, Dread Metal Productions will be hosting a variety rock show at Philly On The Rocks in Erie, PA. It will feature Real Fake Doors, Frame and Mantle, Horseback Waterpolo, and Wasted Info. It starts at 8pm, and admission is $10. You can also purchase advance tickets for $7 here.
Friday July 29th, STRANGEWAYS presents BABEWAYS at Belvdere’s Ultra Dive Bar in Lawrenceville, PA. It will be a night of tunes from femme artists, and all proceeds will be donated to Planned Parenthood of Western PA. The night starts at 9pm, and admission is $10. Come out to unite and dance for a common cause. Have some fun in the process while you are at it on this magical night.
Friday July 29th, it is the debut of a new goth night known as Obsidian which will be held at Club Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, PA. It is both queer and kink friendly, and in addition to dancing, there will live performances as well. The night starts at 9pm, and admission is $15. You have the option of bringing your own alcohol, and if you choose to do so, there is $10 fee. Should be an interesting yet new experience for fellow goths to enjoy.
On Saturday, July 30th, Four Thirty Four returns to the Sub Alpine in Turtle Creek, PA. They will have support from Hostile Front, The Merrick Strain, Desolence, False Positive, and Steve Whooler. It will start at 6:30pm, and admission is $12. It should be a fun night, so come prepared to rock.
Also on Saturday July 30th, it will be a night of rock n roll at Green Beacon Gallery in Greensburg, PA. Listen to jams from Endless Mike and the Beagle Club, Killin’ Me, and Griffen Handshake. Doors open at 7pm, and admission is pay what you can.
In addition, on Saturday July 30th, for you night creatures, Kamp Filth II: Prom of the Damned will be taking place at Collision Warehouse in Pittsburgh, PA. This is the night for the dead to rise and for the undead to come party. In addition to nightly tunes being spun by DJs, there will also be live performances, vendors, and more. Come explore the realm of the inbetween, and enjoy the pleasantries the night has to offer. Doors open at 8pm, and admission is $10.
Finally, on Saturday July 30th, 717 Entertainment will be hosting the Scars of the Broken Tour which will be invading Lovedraft’s Brewing Company in Mechanicsburg, PA. Dawn of Ashes will be headlining with support from Midnight Nightmare, The Destruct Principle, Carbonstone, and Gryla. Doors open at 6pm, and tickets are $10. You can purchase tickets here.
