The fall equinox has arrived, and with it, it brings all kinds of events to look forward to on the horizon. Let’s take a look at what is coming down the line.
Starting us off on Thursday September 23rd, the spiders have weaved together to bring us the next edition of Cobwebs at Belvedere’s Ultra Dive. The curtain rises up at 9pm, and admission is $5. If you enjoy the old school goth/industrial hits, PGH Requiem will have plenty of what you are looking for.
Friday September 24th, the next edition of Diamond Life will be kicking off at Spirit bar. The dance party full of choice cuts all night will begin at 9pm, and admission is only $5.
On Saturday September 25th, Prevailer Entertainment will be holding a house show in Falls Creek, PA. It will feature bands such as Belvebuth, The Wasted, San Francisco Sex Toys, and Brutal Business Entertainment metal band Feast on the Fallen. The carnage starts at 6pm, and admission is $5.
Also on Saturday September 25th, Brutal Business Entertainment rapper Madclock comes to the National Transit Building in Oil City, PA for Blood Harvest. He will be supported once again by HeartAttack Kid, Li’Marie, Matthew Morton, PRPL CHLD, as well as fellow Brutal Business Entertainment artists Demo Demon, and East Koast Craziez. The insanity starts at 6pm, and admission is $10. Come see all these talented artist tear the roof of the place and experience music in a way you never experienced it before.
In addition, on Saturday September 25th, Prime 8 will be having a free show at Halftime Lounge and will be joined by King Catfish, The Biscuits, and Sex Ant. The shenanigans get started at 8pm so come out and have a fun time.
Lastly on Saturday, September 25th, STRANGEWAYS will be back, back again, with the next edition of Night Fever Vintage Disco Party. Plan to start getting your groove on at 9pm, and admission is $7 before 10pm, and $10pm after. Break out your best disco outfit for this one folks.
Sunday September 26th, you want to get weird? Lets get weird with the Outsider Music Matinee at Ormsby Avenue Cafe, presented to you by Some Die Nameless. It will feature bands such as Daikaiju, Weird Paul Rock Band, and the lovable God Hates Unicorns. The show starts at 5 PM, and admission is $10. This looks to be an awesome and unexpected event to come out and witness.
Also on September 26th, Signs of the Swarm will be invading Preserving Underground in New Kensington, PA. They will have support from Worm Shepherd, The Breathing Process, and Brutal Business Entertainment metal band Feast on the Fallen. The show starts at 6:30pm, and tickets are $13-$15. You can purchase tickets here. Witness extreme heavy metal and get your face melted off in the process.
Lastly, are you ready? Are you sure you are ready? Monday, September 27th, The Vengeance of SHE Mini Tour will be coming to the Sub Alpine Society. Presented by Shrunken Head Entertainment, it will feature Razakel & The Slice Girls, HB The Grizzly, Hoax, along with support from Brutal Business Entertainment artists Morbid Sikosis, East Koast Craziez, Madclock, and the return of the legendary Skippy Ickum. The show starts at 8pm, and tickets are $12. I will be surprised if the building will still be standing with the amount of heat that this tour will be bringing with them, so if you sleep on this one, it is your own fault if you miss the carnage.
And that is everything. With this much going on, there is no reason to come out and experience local live music, especially now the weather is cooling down. Be sure to like and follow all the bands mentioned, and as always, whatever you decide to do, please be safe doing so.
