Hard to believe, but here we are at the final weekend of May already, and it will be Memorial Day weekend to boot. So if you are looking for something to do, here is all of what you have to look forward to!

Starting us off, Thursday May 26th, there will be a small metal show happening at Sub Alpine in Turtle Creek, PA. It will feature Selfgod, Sathanas, and Yatra. They all will be looking forward to give you some brutality to help you relax after a hard day at work. The show starts at 7pm, and admission is $10 at the door.

Friday May 27th, Casey’s Bar in Pittsburgh, PA is bringing you a event full of local bands such as The Molecule Party, Anxiety at Best, Seethe, and Treaties. A little of this, a little of that. Doors open at $7, and for all four bands, your admission is $5. Pretty good deal if you ask me.

Also on Friday May 27th, Dread Metal Productions is hosting a couple of shows, the first being a very diverse live show at Philly at the Rocks in Erie, PA. You will to hear from bands such as Psycho Hosebeast, Grim Grin, Crop Harvester Monster Dump Truck, and the debut of Mitch’s Music Corner. I hope you are prepared because it is going to get weird with this one. But we like weird! Doors open at 8pm, and tickets are $5. You can purchase those here.

In addition, on Friday May 27th, Distortion Productions returns to Black Forge Coffee House II in Mckees Rocks, PA. This time, the bill will feature Street Cleaner, Moris Blak, and Watch Out for Snakes. It starts at 8pm, and tickets are $20. You can purchase those here. You won’t want to miss out on this one!

As well, on Friday May 27th, Diamond Life will be at Spirit in Lawrenceville, PA. They will celebrating their 4 year anniversary, and got a big dance party in store to help commemorate the occasion. It will start at 9pm, and tickets are $5. You can purchase those in advance here.

Saturday May 28th, Black Forge Coffee House II in Mckees Rocks will be hosting a local music showcase. It will host bands such as Faith by Order, Desolence, Griffen Handshake, The Bad Place, and Neon Vanadium. Doors open at 6:30PM, and admission is $15. Or can get advance tickets for $12 here. Support local music and get some good coffee to boot!

Also on Saturday May 28th, it will be the second offering from Dread Metal Productions at Philly At the Rocks in Erie, PA. This time around, they are hosting a metal show. It will feature Paradox Rift, Storms Within, Neighbor Dan, and Villian 50/50. Doors open at 7:30PM, and advance tickets are $6 or $10 at the door. You can purchase tickets here. Come out and get ready to rip.

In addition, on Saturday May 28th, there will a duo of dance nights in Lawrenceville, PA. The first will be STRANGEWAYS hosting =Night Fever= Vintage Disco Party. Providing all the funk you can handle and more, this dance party will be swirling with beats to shake that booty to. The beats drop at 9pm sharp, and admission is $7 before 10pm, $10 after.

As well, on the night of Saturday, May 28th, it has been long overdue. Blacklist Entertainment will be teaming up with Evolution to bring you a special edition of Requiem known as ReVolution Part 3. They originally planned to do this before the pandemic shut everything down in March of 2020. You will get to hear the greatest hits you come to expect as well as the hits from the Outlaw DJ Josey from his side of the tracks. It starts at 10pm, and admission will be $5. When goths team together, it just means more fun for all of us. This will be a night you won’t want to miss out on.

On Memorial Day, Monday May 30th Black Forge Coffee House II in McKees Rocks, PA presents the Ash in Realms of Stone Icons Tour. The bands playing are Tomarum, Dawn of Ouroboros, and Wake of the Blade. Prepare to get dark and heavy. It starts at 7pm, and tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at the door.
