Buckle up, this is going to be a jam packed week of events. Now the spring has arrived, even thought it won’t feel much like this weekend, things are going to be seriously ramping up with concerts and events galore. Let us unpack what is all coming up.

Starting us off, on Wednesday March 23rd, Steel City Destroyers presents the Paintstroke XL Tour 2022 coming to Porky’s Bar and Grill in Pittsburgh, PA. It will have bands such as The Cryptics, Middle Finger, The Filthy Lowdown, and Plasmid. A punk show to help you celebrate hump day, it will start at 7pm, and admission is $10.

This Thursday March 24th will be the start of a flurry of shows that will be hosted by Casey’s Bar in Pittsburgh, PA. This show will feature Death on Fire, Raven Mocker, and Trainwrecked. So if you are having a rough week, come down to see some metal bands to help take the edge off. Doors open at 8pm, and admission is $10.

Friday March 25th, Dread Metal Productions will be hosting a mixed genre metal show at Basement Transmissions in Erie, PA. You will get to hear a variety of bands such as Feast on the Fallen, The Bong Mongrels, Crop Harvester Monster Dump Truck, Pacific Specific, and Horseback Waterpolo. Definitely a show that will something for everyone. Doors open at 6:30PM, and tickets will be $10. You can purchase advance tickets here.

Also on Friday March 25th, Steel City Destroyers will be teaming up with Some Die Nameless to return back to Porky’s Bar and Grill in Pittsburgh, PA for another rock show. This time around, the show will feature Tiger Sex, The Cheats, the debut of Cumplete Basturds, and Johnny Razor of Johnny and the Razorblades. It starts at 7pm, and admission will be $10.

In addition, on Friday March 25th, the second rock show will be happening at Casey’s Bar in Pittsburgh, PA. This time around, it will feature The Parishables, Silicon Kong, and Plumbob. They all plan to start rocking faces at 8pm, and admission is $10.

For the party people, Friday March 25th, Diamond Life will be returning to Spirit Bar in Lawrenceville. As always, they will feature choice cuts for you to shake your booty to. It kicks off at 9pm, and admission is $5.

On Saturday, March 26th, Black Forge Coffee House II in Mckees Rocks, PA will be posting their second Local Showcase. It will be a Spring Spree which will feature bands such as Chip & The Charge Ups, 13occult, Wampum Dogs, Memory Front, and Cherry Yachtsman. They hope to get you rocking enough to awake you from the winter slumber. The show starts at 6:30PM, and tickets are $12. You can purchase those in advance here or they will be available at the door.

Also on Saturday March 26th, Green Beacon Gallery in Greensburg, PA will be hosting an event. The bands playing this show will be The Redlines, God Hates Unicorns, Lavender Honey, and Essential Machine. Sounds like good music and old fashioned fun are in store, and admission is name your price! Doors open at 6:30PM.

In addition, on Saturday March 26th, Prepare to get your face melted with a brutal metal show at the Sub Alpine in Turtle Creek, PA. You will witness the devastating sounds of Embalmer, Rottrevore, the debut of the grotesque band Corpse God, and HoreHound. The doors open at 7:30PM, and admission will be $10.

It’s the third show at Casey’s Bar on Saturday March 26th, and it will be a their weekly metal night. The bands playing this one will be Until The Dead Walk, Autumn Lies Buried, Speaking in Tongues, and making their second appearance for the week Trainwrecked. The doors open for this rager at 8pm, and admission is $7.

This Saturday March 26th will feature the dynamic duo of dance nights in Lawrenceville, PA, the first being STRANGEWAYS hosting =Night Fever= Vintage Disco Party at Belvedere’s Ultra Dive. It will be a night full of solid gold dance tracks to help warm you up on a chilly night. The disco ball starts spinning at 9pm, and admission is $7 before 10pm, $10 after.

The second dance night on Saturday March 26th will be Blacklist Entertainment hosting Requiem at Cattivo. This will proud to announce a special guest Dj Callisto who was one of resident DJs from Ceremony, and is the responsible for the Pittsburgh Freaky Fair(stay tuned for more details to come). The tracks will start dropping at 10pm, and admission will be $5.

Sunday March 27th, something wicked this way comes to Green Beacon Gallery in Greensburgh, PA. Greywalker, Uzkost, Feast on the Fallen, and Constant Hell will be descending upon the masses and plan to leave bodies in their wake. The admission will be name your price, and doors open at 6:30PM.

Monday March 28th, there will be a small metal show hitting the Sub Alpine in Turtle Creek PA. It will feature The Fifth, Offensive, and Anxiety at Best. If you want to unwind after a hard day at work, the show will start at 8pm, and admission is $10.
