Heading into the third week of January, and this time around, it is going to be a bit more busier than most. So if you are looking to get thawed out from the cold weather, this is the week to do it as there is a good bit of heat coming your way.

To start us off, Friday January 21st, Black Forge Coffee II in McKees Rocks presents Speaking in Tongues and Gravebirth, with support from Trainwrecked, Shadow of Corvus, and CRASH ARMY. It is going to be a heavy hitting show that you simply cannot miss out on. It goes down starting at 6:30PM, and admission is $12.

Also on Friday January 21st, GutterRich, Spank Byte, and Plumbob will be grooving at Casey’s Draft House in Pittsburgh, PA. Their funktastic shows starts at 9pm, and admission is $10.

Saturday January 22nd, Shattered Saturday will be taking place at The Sub Alpine in Turtle Creek, PA. The Master Shredder Steve Whooler will kick things off, followed by Strangle The Witness, then the main attraction Shattered Soul. The show starts at 7pm, and admission is $12.

Also on Saturday January 22nd, set your phasers to fun as God Hates Unicorns brings their wacky crudeness to Halftime Lounge in Pittsburgh, PA. They will be bringing Tempered and UNDERSTATEMENT along for the ride as well. You never know what to expect, so come down at 8pm sharp.

In addition, on Saturday January 22nd, Metal Night at The Hideout in Weedville, PA will be taking place. It will feature three brutal bands in the form of Less Than Zero, After The Fall, and Endbringer. It starts at 9:30PM, and it is no cover.

If you want to get funky, Saturday January 22nd, STRANGEWAYS will be hosting the first 2022 edition of =Night Fever= Vintage Disco Party at Belvedere’s Ultra Dive in Lawrenceville, PA. The dance floor will start heating up at 9pm, and admission is $7 before 7pm, $10 after. This is the place to keep you warm enough to melt the cold.

The stars have aligned and on Saturday January 22nd, Blacklist Entertainment will be hosting Requiem: Convergence. It is the 100th event, so to celebrate, not only is it returning to Cattivo in Lawrenceville, PA, it will be a mixture of music from the other events such as Synthetic, Haven, and Cobwebs, along with the usual cuts from Requiem. The convergence starts at 10pm, and admission is $5. This is going to the ultimate goth/industrial night, so you won’t want to miss this.
