Now that everyone had the chance to recover, November bounces back this weekend with a variety of events to expect. Here is what you can look forward to.

Starting off on Thursday November 11th, Dying Fetus with support from Terror, Brand of Sacrifice, and Vitriol descend upon Spirit Bar in Lawrenceville. The night of punishing metal begins at 6pm, and tickets are $25. You can purchase those here.

Friday November 12th features the return of goth/industrial to Cattivo. Blacklist Entertainment is introducing the first in person version of Synthetic. They been holding these events online, and decided to introduce them to the public. Focusing on the more electronic side of the scene, this will feature genres such as synthpop and electro-industrial. The event starts at 10pm, and admission is $5. Also since Cattivo is in the midst of reopening fully, they are only having a cash bar, and there will be a ATM on site.

Saturday November 13th, Evolution also returns to Cattivo! This will be a dance night that features cold wave, dark wave, goth, industrial and more. This is something that used to happen at Cattivo monthly before the pandemic hit, so it is nice to see it return back. It starts at 930PM, and admission is $5. If you enjoy the goth side of things, then you will definitely want to come out to this.

Also on Saturday November 13th, Some Die Nameless and Steel City Destroyers brings a punk night to Porky’s Bar and Grill in Etna, PA. It will feature bands such as Doc Rotten, Rocky Dennis Face, The Scratch N’ Sniffs, and The Skratchtrax. It kicks off at 7pm, and admission is $10.

In addition, on Saturday November 13th, there will be a super ska show happening at Green Beacon Gallery in Greensburg, PA known as Planet Ska Invasion. It will feature bands such as Fubar, Inco Fido, The Sneaky Heat Missiles, and The Biscuits. It starts at 7pm, and admission is $12. Get ready to do some skanking!

Saturday November 13th continues as False Positive holds their album release show at Halftime Lounge. They will be releasing CDs for their new album “Taste of Truth”, and will have support from Neostem, and CRASH ARMY. It kicks off at 8pm, and it is free to attend. Come down, show your support, and get some new music in the process.

Lastly, on Saturday November 13th, STRANGEWAYS hosts the next edition of {the modern age} indie rock dance party at Belvedere’s Ultra Dive Bar in Lawrenceville. The lovable scoundrels plan to get you grooving at 9pm, and admission is 7pm before 10pm, and $10 after. Come one, come all, and plan for a night of unending fun.
