As the season changes, the weather gets colder, and the hours get longer, this is the time of year that the events start to wind down. We got a fairly light weekend in store, but November still has some life left.

Starting on Thursday, November 4th,PGH Requiem presents the November edition of Requiem which will be held at Belvedere’s Ultra Dive in Lawrenceville. As always the spookiness starts at 9pm, and admission is $5. Come and dance in the dark to a variety of goth and industrial hits.

This Saturday November 6th, Brutal Business Entertainment presents the Brutal Winter 2021 Charity stream. If you are new to this, it involves streaming games for 24 hours to raise money for kids at need in Children’s Hospital. We at First Angel Media will be partnering with them, along with BTMX, Local Band Smokeout, Prevailer Entertainment, DI Records, and Black Community Gaming. The stream starts at 7am, and you can catch that here. You can also donate at the the following link. This is always a fun and crazy time, so do it for the kids, and make sure to participate.

Also on Saturday November 6th, Title Town will be holding the next edition of their Soul and Funk Party at Spirit Bar. The funkiness starts at 9pm, and admission is $7 before 10pm, $10 after. If you are looking to keep yourself warm, this is the best spot to go.

In addition, on Saturday November 6th, Molasses Barge will be holding their farewell show at Cattivo in Lawrenceville. They will have support from HoreHound and the first live appearance of URNS. The doom starts at 9pm, and admission is $10. If you like that sludgy, heavy doom metal, then you do not want to miss this.

Finally, on Sunday November 7th, the next edition of Heavy Metal Parking Lot Market will be held at Black Forge Coffee House in McKees Rocks. It will once again feature a variety of vendors inside and our, and it all starts at 11am. Admission is absolutely free, and the holidays are near, so this is the perfect time to get a start on your shopping for friends and family. Or maybe yourself.

So not a whole lot going on, and this is the moment to get some downtime after all the craziness from Halloween if you need it. Please be sure to like and follow all the pages mentioned, and as always, no matter what you decide to do, please be safe doing so!
