Last Saturday night was a mosh of grindcore and death metal when Get Hip Records hosted Vomit Forth on their way back from Chicago Domination Fest. This year’s Pittsburgh Hard and Heavy at SUB Alpine was pure, joyous, hard hitting insanity. The Keynote Cafe in Jeannette, PA started twelve years ago because the owner Jill Sorrels wanted to hear more music. The last Saturday in June was the venue’s final show. Jill had decided it was time to retire. An amazing time was had by all when the Winter Blackout: The Yeti Strikes Back tour stopped at the Rex Theater recently.
