Casketmaker – Deathcore Video: BACKSTABBER Casketmaker, a five piece from Pittsburgh, Pa, started 2019 with a brand new single and Deathcore fans from all over are loving it! These guys are pretty new, with the idea of the band beginning in December 2017. Casketmaker as they are now only formed a year ago,  but they’re growing like crazy and it’s easy to see why! They bring a touch of black metal and make the sound...

Haven State Progressive Rock/Metal “Finite” Haven State has just released “Finite”, a compelling blend of intensity and smooth vocals. They’ve taken something light, kept the heavier aspects and mixed in some of a wanderlust aspect to create a new and appealing sound. Having seen them live I can say that they’ve hit the mark on showing listeners the passion they bring to everything they do with this mesmerizing music video. The single is now available...

Reign of Z is one of the bands we’ve had the pleasure of following from the very beginning. We’ve watched them form, do their first shows, grow as performers and now… the results of hard work and dedication to their craft speak for themselves. We couldn’t be more proud to share the new single they just dropped today – “Reflections” from their soon to be released album “Mirrors and Memoirs” Reign of Z has just...

Enda Vera –  Nazareth, Pennsylvania Experimental Rock/Metal Video: Chasing Relativity I came across Enda Vera on Facebook with their new release Chasing Relativity. It caught me immediately, I expected to find at least a semi-national band behind this. Imagine my surprise that this band seems to be rather new to the scene. I wasted no time requesting to run their video. Mark my words, this band is going places and it’s going to be my honor...

DoDriver Location: New York, USA Video: DoDriver European 2017 Tour Set to the tune of their single It Feels Good to be Home, DoDriver highlights their European Tour in this fun, full length video. These guys have been all over the United States as well, from the famous Whisky A-Go-Go in Las Angeles, Ca to Pittsburgh, Pa. I saw them for the first time, live on the Hard Rock Cafe stage and had to stop a conversation to...

Vetis – Doomcore/Horror Metal Location: West Virginia, USA Video: “The Witch”   Vetis ended 2018 by releasing their new album The Invitation in December and… just wow. I recommend checking out the entire album because this is pretty remarkable. For their genre, they don’t let themselves become stuck in what is traditional. The Witch is a great video for your first introduction to this band. A single off the new album it takes you on a trip through beauty before dropping you...

Dark Rites – Metal Video “Welcome to Eternity” Holy Triad of Power Batman!  Three members, hailing from  the UK, USA and Sweden?? That mash up makes sense when you listen to the music. Dark Rites is one of those welcome metal bands that finds a way to mix in almost any metal genre out there. This band was established in 2016 and “Welcome to Eternity” is the title track from the final release of 2018. Final is used...

After last week’s round with Chip & the Charge Ups, we’re returning to smack you in the mouth with more heavy music. This week’s Find your Muse(ic) featured video brings about a couple of firsts. Homo Macabrus gets the distinction of being the first band from Greece that we have highlighted on First Angel Media, and this is my first time authoring a Find your Muse(ic) Feature. So please bear with me, while I gather...

Chip & The Charge Ups – Hard Rock/Power Pop – Pittsburgh, PA Video – “Good Riddance, Fallen Angel” Chip & The Charge Ups is a rather unique Rock band – and we’ve got the video to prove it. This week we’re stepping away from the overly heavy and hitting you with a Green Day/Poison Mash Up video. With Chip Di Monick at the helm this band has it’s roots in Hard Rock and Punk, but they...

Redson – Hard Rock – Pittsburgh “Throwing Stones” Redson seems to be everywhere you look these days – and that makes sense because when they hit the stage they give their all! These guys are hard rock and have a slightly dark twist with the vocals in their video ‘Throwing Stones’. This band has created a song about bullying, a needed message in today’s world. A rather cool take on a mix of live and produced video...

Skell ~ “Everything’s Fine”

FAM is a Pittsburgh, PA based music media company that’s all about the personal, emotional and social experience of music. The internet is awesome for finding music – living it is better! We’re bringing you professional photos from shows, articles, videos and more to remind you that your weekend doesn’t have to be spent here in the virtual world but with people who have at least one thing in common with you – a shared taste for music. Music media has been done before, but we flipped the script and concentrate on the stuff you haven’t seen yet – the local and regional bands that aren’t just a name on a billboard and a face on a stage. You’re probably still going to find some national level stuff happening around the Pittsburgh area but that’s because when they come to town, they’re part of our family… and once upon a time they were a local band from somewhere.
